Account & Data Deletion

This page explains how to request deletion of your Bhavya Field account and any personal data associated with it. Bhavya Field is the field-staff Android app published by Bhavya Enterprises on the Google Play Store (package name com.bhavyafield).

You can request two kinds of deletion via the same email channel below:

  • Full account deletion — remove your user account and all associated personal data.
  • Partial data deletion — keep your account but remove specific data (e.g. uploaded photos, location history, or device tokens).

How to request deletion

  1. Email helpdesk@bhavyaentrprises.com from the email address you registered with on the app.
  2. Use the subject line: “Bhavya Field account deletion request”.
  3. Include the following in the body:
    • Your full name as it appears on the account
    • The registered email address or mobile number
    • (Optional) Reason for deletion
  4. We will respond within 7 business days, verify your identity, and confirm before any data is removed.

What we delete

On verified request, we permanently delete:

  • Your user profile (name, email, mobile, role, avatar)
  • Authentication credentials and stored sessions
  • Device tokens used for push notifications
  • Personal location history captured by the app
  • Photos and attachments you personally uploaded to your account
  • In-app notifications and notification preferences
  • Biometric login bindings stored on your devices

What we may retain (and why)

For accounting, audit, tax-compliance and contractual reasons, the following information may be retained for the periods listed even after your account is deleted:

  • Work artefacts you created on behalf of a client — tickets, visits, expense records, signed JCRs, quotations and invoices — are owned by the employer organisation and remain in their account. These contain your name as the historical author but no personal contact data after deletion.
  • Financial transactions and tax records — invoices, payments, GST filings — are retained for 8 years as required by the Indian Income Tax Act and the GST Act.
  • Audit logs of security events (login attempts, device registrations, session revocations) are retained for 12 months for fraud and security investigations.
  • Anonymised analytics (with no personal identifiers) may be retained indefinitely for product improvement.

A note for employee accounts

Bhavya Field is primarily an enterprise app used by employees of a client organisation. If your account was created for you by an employer, you may also wish to contact that employer's HR or IT team — they can de-provision your account inside their own organisation immediately. Either path (you or your employer) leads to the same outcome.
